September Gigs
Four gigs in September. We started off the month at The Bargate in Southampton on a Saturday lunchtime, great fun and there were quite a few people there to watch. That evening we travelled to Gosport to the North Star, another busy night. The following week we came home to a packed house at The Red Lion in Totton, and we ended the month with a trip to Timsbury to play at The Malthouse. We are sure there are some additional pictures out there of some of these gigs, feel free to email them to us (info@orangestreet.co.uk).

Two of the gigs in September were for charity. The Bargate gig was in aid of the charitySouth Coast Money Line (http://www.scmoneyline.org.uk/), and the Timsbury gig was for Hammer Out Brain Tumors (http://www.hammerout.co.uk). Please pay both websites a visit.

Upcoming Gigs
We have three gigs in October (we have already played one).
Saturday 8th October, The Red Lion, Totton.
Saturday 22nd October, Cowplain Social Club.
Saturday 29th October, The Hampshire Rose, Purbrook.

New Singer
We are delighted to announce that we have found a new singer. Rob Clarke has joined the band as our new lead vocalist. he comes from Portsmouth and has had previous experience in a mod band. We are rehearsing at the moment and should be 'giggable' very soon. Keep an eye on the website for news of his first gig.

The Orange Street Christmas Party
We have booked The Empire Hall in Totton for our 2005 Christmas Party. It will also be Leon's last gig with Orange Street, so get your tickets ASAP from Lee on 07887 531 959 (£5 in advance, £6.50 on the door). Also appearing are The Hi Watts, a top local mod band.

Thanks and Congratulations
Big thanks this month go to Richie from Urban Rhythm for standing in for us at The Bargate, The North Star and The Malthouse gigs. Thanks to Tom for The North Star (he was going to play the gig), thanks to Liam from 2 Tonic for standing in at The Red Lion and finally thanks to Simon from Bad Manners for helping out at The Bargate and The North Star.

Congratulations to Richie this month as well as he has joined Bad Manners until Christmas. He said it was always something he wanted to do.

Finally, as always, feel free to email us and tell us what you think about a gig, or if you have any pictures that we can use.
