News.
Four
gigs in July to report on. First up was our appearance at the Gosport
Festival. Our first festival gig, we are already pencilled in for next
year. Next was another trip to the Red Lion in Totton, again as busy as
always and a great night, Totton is our spiritual home and still one of
our best supported gigs. The final day of the month saw us doing two gigs.
During the day we opened proceedings at Badfest, then travelled to the Red
Lion in Twickenham for an evening gig. So far we only have pictures of the
Gosport Festival, if you have any more feel free to email them in to us.
Unfortunately
the Southsea Bandstand gig that was due to take place on 24th July was
cancelled due to bad weather. We are still talking about rescheduling it,
we will let you know as soon as we do. Sorry for anyone who attended
expecting to see any of the bands.
August
is a relatively quiet month for us. Upcoming gigs for Aug/Sept are below:
Gaz's Rockin Blues (Soho, London), Thurs 11th August.
The Heron, Leigh Park on 26th August.
The
North Star, Gosport Road, Gosport, Saturday 10th September.
The
Red Lion, Totton, Saturday 17th September.
The
Malthouse, Stockbridge Road, Timsbury (near Romsey), Sunday 25th
September.
Don't
forget the gig due on the 13th August at the Railway Inn in Gosport has
been cancelled.
We
also have some more sad news this month. Gary is having a break for a few
months from the band so expect to see our old friend Richie from Urban
Rhythm standing in for a few gigs.
