The Orange Street newsletter, 4th April 2005.

News.
Three gigs in March to report on. First up was our first trip to "The Frog on the Front" in Southsea. A big thanks to those who came along from the North Star/Railway Inn gigs, we recognise you and appreciate the support. Next was one of the few social clubs we play, Netley, a bit quieter than usual (but thanks to Kev for dancing all the way through). The final gig of the month was back to Totton (home to half the band). As usual when we play in Totton, the pub was at capacity, sorry to those who could not get in.

Those who visit the website regularly will know that we have been taking a four week break. So April is a very quiet month for us, only two gigs. We have been working on new material though and hope to have at least two new songs ready for the gig at the North Star on the 22nd April.

Thanks this month go to everyone who comes to see us at the North Star and Railway Inn. Word has got round and we have been booked to play at the Gosport festival. The only way we know how to say thanks is to put a gig on, so we will be at the North Star on Friday 22nd April. Thanks also to the pub for accomodating us at such short notice. Final note about the North Star, we have booked the "Orange Street Gosport Christmas Party" on 17th December.

We have also been confirmed on the bill at Badfest (visit http://www.badfest.com for more details). That one will be interesting as we will be playing two gigs on the same day.

We have also booked a gig at Club Ska near Harrow in London on Saturday 14th May. We will be supporting Bad Manners again, so no doubt it will be a cracking night.

Tickets for the Post Office Club gig also go on sale this month. Get your tickets from Rob Moore on 07843 486 594.

Finally, as always, feel free to email us and tell us what you think about a gig, or if you have any pics that we can use.
